GLAMOUR, SMOKY, SENSUAL, SHOCKING looks – L’Oréal Paris Make-up products are the answer


Being a weekend and Karachi super hot and humid, it was a sure thing that it would be  mad rush of people at Dolmen Mall, but Kudos all involved, L’Oreal Paris’s 8th Mall Animation at Dolmen Mall, Clifton was SOME show.

Except for a little sounch echo glitch, and an hour delay (which is as normal, sadly!) it was a fashionably entertaining guest and press meet event.

The Mall Animation was a two part show. First was the products talk by skin and beauty experts and the team L’Oréal Paris, which sadly went to drain because most of  us just didnt get a word of what they were saying . ECHO all ECHO, or could just be that we were some where not as close to the speakers, but then all should hear it. The Product Manager at L’Oréal Paris, Nubain Ali was very sure that had Dolmen Mall authorities did not have put in so much restrictions, there might have never arrived this problem. Oh lets just be frank, all of us wanted to see the Fashion presentation with “4 essential make up looks” and each represented by one of our 4  star designers.


The Skin experts talked about the revolutionary Anti-Ageing BB skin cream. Yes Anti Ageing and this should excite you ladies: product named “Revitalift TR10 BB Cream fights the 10 signs of ageing in one gesture i.e.: reduced wrinkles, smoothed skin, rehydrated skin, firmer skin, more elastic skin, more supple skin, even complexion, radiant skin, refined skin texture, defined contours”. The second part of the show was “an introduction to L’Oréal Paris make-up and Spring/Summer 2013 make-up looks by Product Manager at L’Oréal Paris, Nubain Ali followed by a unique make-up and fashion presentation artistically translated by make-up expert Saba Ansari of Sabs featuring 4 leading fashion designers; LE SMOKY by Deepak Perwani, LE SHOCKING by Sadaf Malattere, LE GLAMOUR by Sana Safinaz and LE SENSUAL by Shehla Chatoor, all of whom created exclusive capsule collections inspired by each make-up trend to complete the “look”. The finale of the show featured L’Oréal Paris Spokesperson Mehreen Syed in LE GLAMOUR by Sana Safinaz. The event was managed by the team at Bulls Eye with talent management and choreography by Catwalk and Public Relations by Lotus.”

Loved Le Sensual look presented by Shehla Chatoor. Rubya Chaudhry who has lately joined the list of  my favorite models  🙂 looked soo ! ah well  “sensual”  in Shehla Chatoor’s. Would be lovely to see  Shehla Chatoor’s one day showing her collections in top fashion weeks of the world. The oomph factor she brings is hard to match.


Loved Deepak Perwani’s as much. The make-up might have been Le Smoky for Deepak’s clothes, but the models including the Super Iraj looked all: smoky, edgy (shocking is the word hard to digest, you know can go both ways :p) sensual and glamorous.

To this end, the evening began with a welcome note by the host, Beauty Advisory Program Manager – L’Oréal Paris, Aale Mowjee who introduced Revitalift TR10 BB Cream to the media and patrons in attendance and later invited , General Manager (Consumer Products’ Division) at L’Oréal Pakistan, Moazzam Ali Khan on stage who talked about L’Oréal as a brand in Pakistan followed by a video screening featuring fashion designers Ayesha F. Hashwani, Nida Azwer, Sanam Chaudhry and Jewellery Designer Kiran Aman who all shared the 10 things they do on a daily basis focusing on TR10 BB Cream.  Aale then introduced on stage the L’Oréal Paris Expert panelists who all shared their views on skin care and the benefits of the TR10 BB Cream.
